Achieving my Licentiate distinction with the Photographic Society of New Zealand was both a milestone and a turning point in my photographic journey. Preparing a portfolio for this internationally recognised award challenged me to refine my technical skills, curate a cohesive body of work, and demonstrate a consistent level of photographic competence.
For me, the process of working towards Licentiate encouraged growth beyond my comfort zone, setting higher standards for my photography and opening new pathways for creative exploration.
